Apostle Duncan

Apostle Bobby G. DuncanApostle Bobby G. Duncan, is the Founder and Pastor of the Greater Deliverance Church in Coatesville, Pennsylvania. Born in Ansonville, North Carolina, Pastor Duncan is the eldest son of the late Eugene and Sarah Duncan. He was raised in Thomasville, North Carolina along with three (3) brothers and four (4) sisters.

He has attended the Full Gospel Bible Institute, the University of Biblical Studies, the Hampton University (continuing education) and the Valley Forge Christian College.

In 1971, by the leading of the Lord, Apostle Duncan moved to Coatesville, Pennsylvania and was released of his pastorship in New Jersey. After Apostle Duncan and his family arrived in Coatesville, services were held in his apartment on North 7th Avenue.

In February 1976, Coatesville Greater Deliverance Church, Inc. formerly located at 500 South 1st Avenue and currently located at 800 South 1st Avenue, Coatesville, Pennsylvania, was chartered and recognized by the State of Pennsylvania and Chester County.

Apostle Duncan serves not only as a Pastor, but he is very active in community service. While working for the Budd Company in Eagle, Pennsylvania, he received several letters of recognition and a plaque for his work in volunteer community services.

His many accomplishments include serving as a Board Member and a Loan Executive for the United Ways of Chester County, the Clergy Advisor for the Women’s Aglow Chapter of West Chester, on the Board of Directors for the Brandywine Red Cross, on the Board of Directors for the YMCA, and the Board of Directors for the Alpha & Omega Ministries (known as Newark Ministry), which is a Christian Rehabilitation Center. As a member of the Coatesville Ministerial Alliance and Vicinity, he has served as President and Treasurer and is currently serving as the Vice President. This spans approximately fifteen (15) years of service with the Ministerial Alliance. His most recent accomplishments include receiving a Bachelors in Theology and a Masters in Christian Education. In February 2008, Apostle Duncan received his highest honor, a Doctorate of Divinity.

As well as being a Pastor, Apostle Duncan is the proud father of three (3) adult daughters and two granddaughters. On February 19, 2005, after 38 years of marriage, the Lord saw fit to call Pastor Cynthia Duncan home to her heavenly rest. Although Sister Duncan is gone, Apostle Duncan continues to stand for the Lord working in this part of the vineyard, endeavoring to fulfill the vision they shared together.
