Greater Deliverance Church – Coatesville, PA

Missions

EVANGELISM
The Evangelism Ministry will be comprised of men and women that will take the church outside of the physical walls; reaching out to men and women of all walks of life. Our goal is to share the Good News of the Gospel with those who may or may not have previously attended church. Our methods include street witnessing, door to door visiting, street services and the annual tent revival held on the grounds of the church.
“And the Lord said unto the servant, go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.” Luke 14:23

CELEBRATE RECOVERY MINISTRY – HIGHTOWER GROUP
The Celebrate Recovery ministry is a weekly support group comprised of men and women using a Christ-centered approach to the 12 Step format; to address addictive disease, as well as “hurts, hang-ups, and habits”. The material used is part of the nationally established network, “Celebrate Recovery”, which has effectively changed the lives of thousands of people. The ministry works to bring healing and restoration in multiple aspects of a person’s life, including spiritually, socially, and emotionally. “The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.” Psalm 18:2
MEETING DAY/TIME – Saturday 9:00 – 11:00 a.m.

MISSIONS MINISTRY
It is the goal of the Missions Ministry to influence our society through ministry to the sick and shut-in. They are to reach out to the community, feed the hungry, clothe the naked and provide services to those who are less fortunate.
“Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.” Matthew 25:36

NURSING HOME MINISTRY
The Nursing Home Ministry will be comprised of women and men who visit the sick and/or shut-in who live in long term nursing care facilities. Our goal is to provide spiritual, prayerful, and compassionate support; and to demonstrate the love of God to those who are no longer active within the general society (usually the elderly).
“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” Psalm 46:1-2

PRISON MINISTRY
The prison ministry will be comprised of men and women addressing the spiritual needs of the incarcerated and their families. Our goal is to bring Christ’s love and forgiveness to the individuals, their families and those who work with them. The Prison Ministry provides counseling and encouragement for inmates who are struggling hard to understand the Bible and to live the Christian faith. The ministry helps each person to gain deeper self awareness and self acceptance, to assume responsibility for his or her life actions, to take steps necessary for change to happen and to become a productive member of society again.
“But the LORD was with Joseph, and shewed him mercy, and gave him favour in the sight of the keeper of the prison.” Gen 39:21
